Adding a custom token (contract address) in Trust Wallet is a simple process. Here's how to do it:
Steps to Add a Custom Token in Trust Wallet:
Open Trust Wallet
Launch the Trust Wallet app on your smartphone.
Go to the Wallet Tab
Tap the "Wallet" tab at the bottom of the screen.
Toggle to Enable the Token (if listed)
If the token is already in Trust Wallet’s database but not visible, simply toggle the switch next to it to enable it.
If the Token is Not Listed, Add It Manually
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Add Custom Token" (on some versions, it may say "Add Token" or "+" icon).
Select the Correct Network
Choose the blockchain network the token is on (e.g., Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, etc.).
Enter the Contract Address
Paste the correct contract address of the token (you can find this on the project’s official website, CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, or Etherscan/BscScan).
The Token Symbol and Decimals should auto-fill. If not, enter them manually.
Save the Token
Tap "Save" or "Add" in the top-right corner.
Check Your Wallet
The token should now appear in your wallet with its balance (if you hold any).
Important Notes:
Always verify the contract address from official sources to avoid scams.
Some tokens (especially new ones) may not show a price until they are listed on major exchanges.
If the token balance doesn’t appear, ensure you’re on the correct network.
Troubleshooting:
Token not showing? Try restarting the app or re-adding the token.
Wrong network? Ensure you selected the correct blockchain (e.g., BSC for BEP-20 tokens, Ethereum for ERC-20). |
